THThe concept of dental implants priced at 29,000 originated from Dr. Anon Arunmuang and Dr. Komsak Chokamnuay, founders of Dental Image Clinic, who have been working in the field of dental implants for a long time. In situations where they had to provide treatment for relatives and friends, the doctors often charged lower than usual fees, ensuring that the prices were not too high while using high-quality materials and equipment, and still managing to keep the clinic running smoothly.
Then there was a follow-up question: “What if we set this price, use these materials and equipment, and maintain this quality for a larger population, or if we can offer it to the general public, not just limited to relatives or friends? Is that possible?” We conducted experiments starting with a small group of patients over a period of time, and we saw that this concept could actually be realized. After that, we began producing 29,000 implants, which marked the beginning of affordable dental implants for Thai people, the first of its kind in Thailand.
